This campaign aims to detach consumers from the covid-19 pandemic with the use of Dettol’s antibacterial products and be able to make memories and enjoy the world cup tournament like they used to pre-pandemic.
Communication Objectives
Increase Dettol sales among FIFA football fans and encourage individuals to participate in the world cup activities while being safe with Dettol products.
Target Audience
Our first group will include football fans aged 18-50 watching the tournament in person and from home. Our second group are children ages 6-12 who will also be watching the match in the stadiums and at home. We will be targeting both men and women.
Compelling Benefit
Dettol provides germ protection on a day-to-day basis and during this world cup, peoples minds will be busy with the tournament and they will forget to take care of their health. Dettol will provide protection and good hygiene habits during this time.
Creative Strategy
Leveraging post-pandemic fears and encouraging individuals to keep themselves and others safe to enjoy a stress-free world cup season with the joy of family and friends. Therefore, the campaign slogan is “kickoff safely”
